In You I See Me
In you I see me
yeah in your beautiful brown eyes
it's a hint of mischief
a stubborn defiance
In you I see me
yeah in your beautiful brown eyes
the sparkle of a dance
the little boy inside
carefree but guarded
innocent thankfully not yet hardened
wonderment and imagination
so many days just laying here waiting
to be lived
to be discovered
I give you my heart
the love of a mother
In you I see me....
it makes me smile
yet leaves me worrying
Oh what will the days bring?
a joy, a sweetness
a sadness, a bitterness
maybe all these things
but I hope in the end still....
the sparkle of a dance

still will reside....
